## Core LinkedIn Outbound Metrics

| Metric | Formula | Healthy range | Warning signal |
|--------|---------|--------------|---------------|
| Acceptance Rate | Accepted / Sent requests | 30–50% | <20% |
| Reply Rate | Replies / First messages sent | 5–15% | <3% |
| Positive Reply Rate | Positive replies / All replies | 30–50% | <20% |
| Meeting Rate | Calls booked / Positive replies | 40–70% | <25% |
| Show Rate | Calls attended / Calls booked | 70–85% | <60% |
| Rotation Yield | Accepted on retry / Rotation attempts | track per campaign | — |

## What to Do When a Metric Drops

**Acceptance Rate <20%**
- Likely cause: sender account looks inactive, incomplete, or low-trust
- Or: targeting the wrong people (ICP mismatch)
- Action: review the sender profile (photo, headline, connection count, recent activity) → refresh → re-warm the account before resuming

**Reply Rate <3%**
- Likely cause: first message copy is off — wrong angle, wrong tone, or too long
- Action: run an A/B test with two different angles on the same segment → compare over 2 weeks → cut the loser

**Positive Reply Rate <20%**
- Likely cause: offer is not resonating, or ICP is wrong — reaching the right job title but wrong company stage or pain
- Action: hand to [STRATEGIST] to review segmentation; hand to [COPYWRITER] to test a different offer angle

**Meeting Rate <25%**
- Likely cause: qualification or the transition to a call is weak
- Action: hand to [DIALOGUE] — review the call proposal messages and qualification sequence

**Rotation Yield tracking**
- Track separately: how many contacts accepted on attempt 2, 3, etc.
- If rotation yield drops sharply by attempt 3 → contacts in this segment are not reachable via LinkedIn; consider other channels or revisit ICP

## LinkedIn Account Health

**Signs an account may be at risk:**
- LinkedIn shows a warning about unusual activity
- Sudden drop in acceptance rate with no change in targeting or volume
- Connection requests stop delivering

**Prevention principles:**
- Stay within the daily volume you have chosen — consistency matters more than the specific number
- Warm new accounts gradually before running them at full send volume
- Each account should look and behave like a real active professional (photo, complete profile, existing connections, occasional organic activity)
- Use separate devices or network environments for different accounts where possible

**Account warm-up principle (for new accounts):**
Start low and increase weekly. The exact numbers are your decision — the principle is: gradual increase, not immediate full volume. A common approach is to start at 30–40% of your target daily volume and increase by ~20–25% each week until full speed.

## Rotation Performance Tracking

Add these fields to your campaign tracker:

| Field | What to track |
|-------|--------------|
| Attempt 1 acceptance | Accepted / Sent on first account |
| Attempt 2 acceptance | Accepted / Rotation attempts |
| Attempt 3+ acceptance | Accepted / Further rotation attempts |
| Unreachable rate | Contacts exhausting all rotation attempts / Total contacted |
| Best-performing account | Which account in pool has highest acceptance rate |

**Insight:** if Attempt 1 acceptance rate is healthy but Rotation yield is very low, the issue is likely timing or profile quality of the rotating accounts — not the ICP.

## Optimisation Cycle

```
Weeks 1–2: Launch → collect data, do not change anything
Week 3:    First review → check Acceptance Rate and Reply Rate
Week 4:    First change → one change at a time
Weeks 5–6: Observe the impact of that change
Week 7+:   Repeat the cycle
```

**The one-change rule:** never change the segment, the copy, and the account simultaneously. You won't know what moved the needle.

## Minimum Weekly Dashboard

Update this every week:

| Week | Requests sent | Accepted | Acc. Rate | First msgs | Replies | Reply Rate | Positive | Calls booked |
|------|--------------|----------|-----------|------------|---------|-----------|----------|-------------|
| W1 | | | | | | | | |
| W2 | | | | | | | | |
| W3 | | | | | | | | |
| W4 | | | | | | | | |

**Rotation add-on (if running multi-account rotation):**

| Week | Rotation attempts | Accepted on retry | Rotation yield |
|------|------------------|------------------|---------------|
| W1 | | | |
| W2 | | | |

## Interpreting Results — Quick Reference

| Symptom | Most likely cause | Who to ask |
|---------|-----------------|-----------|
| Low acceptance, decent reply rate on those who accept | Profile issue, not copy | Review sender accounts |
| Good acceptance, low reply rate | Copy or angle issue | [COPYWRITER] |
| Good reply rate, low positive rate | ICP or offer mismatch | [STRATEGIST] + [COPYWRITER] |
| Good positive rate, low meeting rate | Qualification or call transition | [DIALOGUE] |
| Rotation yield dropping sharply | Segment may be saturated or wrong channel | [STRATEGIST] |
